Title: "Modeling heliosphere neutrals with trajectory methods"

Abstract: The plasma physics of the outer heliosphere and its boundary with theinterstellar medium is heavily influenced by a substantial density ofneutral atoms. To assess the physics of the outer heliosphere, knowledgeof both plasma and neutral distributions is important. The IBEX missionprovided the most detailed set of neutral measurements to date, butbecause these are not in-situ measurements, modeling has to be used toconnect remote observations like IBEX with the neutral distributions infar-distant heliospheric regions. I'll describe a test particle methodthat uses conservation methods (Kepler) to model the neutralseverywhere, while they interact with the heliospheric plasma along theirpath through the heliosphere.
