The Department of Physics and Astronomy offers free viewing through their campus astronomical telescope to the Dartmouth community and the public.
Observation of the Moon, planets and stars is available at Shattuck Observatory Friday nights. Summer schedule: Fridays, 8:00-10:00 PM, September 20th through November 15th. Observing is only possible under good weather conditions - mostly clear skies with little chance of rain or snow. If the weather is questionable, call 646-9100 to confirm the status of a session.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
