Quinn O. Casey

PhD Student in Physics and Astronomy

I am a graduate student working with Professors Ryan Hickox, Burçin Mutlu-Pakdil, and Elisabeth Newton. I mainly focus on the variability of active galactic nuclei (AGN) using a variety of techniques (e.g. IFU spectroscopy, photoionization codes, time series data). I also think about ultra-faint dwarf galaxies (UFDs) in the local Universe, and how they can be used to test theories of dark matter.
