Lucas Dyke

PhD Student in Physics and Astronomy

I am a graduate student working with Hans Mueller in the field of heliospheric plasma physics. My specific work focuses on modeling distributions of interstellar neutral hydrogen as they arrive from the local interstellar medium at locations where they can be measured by explorer probes with the aim of producing a comprehensive model, whose results can be compared to measurements of existing and future probes like Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) and Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP).
