The 2023 astronomy FSP spent a day touring the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. This included Chapman's Peak, the Cape of Good Hope and seeing lots of penguins at Boulders Beach
The students are spending 10 weeks in South Africa, including a week at the South African Astronomical Observatory in the middle of the program.
