Benjamin Velguth

I am a graduate student in Professor Burçin Mutlu-Pakdil's research group. I am particularly interested in what we can learn about mergers between galaxies through studies of their stellar halos. I am currently working to determine what extended features Rubin/LSST will be able to detect around nearby satellites using mock observations of simulated dwarf galaxies.
