The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2024. The area of specialization is theoretical and computational plasma physics, including space plasma physics, fusion plasma physics, and/or plasma astrophysics. Expectations for this position include a vigorous research program involving undergraduate and graduate students as well as a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. A Ph.D. in physics, astrophysics, or a closely related field is required, along with postdoctoral experience and a strong record of published research.
