PhD Student in Physics and Astronomy
I work with Prof. Kevin Wright on ultra-cold atomic gases. We use ultra-cold atomic gases to study quantum many-body phenomena such as superfluidity. Currently we are specifically working on designing and constructing a Li6 and Li7 dual species cooling system. Our short term goal is to cool the atoms down to BEC critical temperature, which makes our lab literally one of the few "coolest" places in the world. Eventually we would like to trap the atoms to a quasi 1D ring and study its superfluidity. It's a lot of work, but super fun and exciting too. I love playing basketball and running in my spare time.
