My research explores theoretical proof as well as applications of information-entropic stability measure on astrophysical objects and possibly other types of systems in the future work. The functional named configurational entropy, brought up by my advisor Prof. Marcelo Gleiser, has been demonstrated to give reliable stability bounds of various self-gravitating systems including Newtonian polytropes, neutron stars and boson stars. My work is half-derivation-half-coding with close connections to information and complexity theory. I use matlab for my current project but I enjoy learning and working with other coding languages and tools as well. I am a huge PC game fan in my spare time.
