Intended Audience(s): Public
Categories: Lectures & Seminars

Abstract: After a preliminary discussion of the macroscopic consequences of quantum vacuum in general, I will describe in more detail
the possible interplay between gravity and the mass generation via the Higgs field in astrophysics and in experimental physics.
I will finally discuss various ongoing research directions with implications in cosmology and high-energy physics.
